NDC API and EOL Agency Desktop enhanced to deliver new levels of choice and personalization, rich content, and superior booking experience.

DUBAI and MIAMI – June 15, 2017 – Farelogix today announced that the Emirates Online (EOL) B2B platform now features advanced seat selection and payment, supported by rich content integrated with graphical seat maps.

EOL B2B includes the Emirates B2B (NDC Certified) API as well as the EOL Agency Desktop, both powered by Farelogix. The new seat capabilities are the latest in a series of enhancements to EOL B2B, which enables thousands of travel agencies to shop and book Emirates flights and fare brands, along with a wide range of value-added services that distinguish the Emirates brand and traveler experience.

“Our job as a preferred Emirates technology provider is to provide flexible, futureproof engines and APIs that can be adapted and enhanced quickly by the airline, on the airline’s timeline to deliver functionality that is a cut above the rest,” said Jim Davidson, CEO of Farelogix. “In this case, we were able to quickly deliver advanced seat selection capabilities for Emirates using our Open Connect and FLX Merchandise engine. We used a graphical approach that makes it easy for the EOL B2B agency community to purchase advanced seats, complete with rich content to showcase the Emirates seat and brand. This is a perfect example of innovation, speed to market, and win-wins for the distribution supply chain.”
