Business Analyst

Job Duties: Lead requirements gathering by interfacing with customer’s business, product and technical teams, translate feedback into actionable airline IT projects, features and enhancements. Create high-level workflow technical design documentation and deliverables.  Lead internal functional design sessions. Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure customer requirements are being met. Act as liaison between clients and developers to translate business logic to technical requirements.  Perform technical research and data analytics by integrating data from various sources to drive useful insights. Facilitate testing, delivery, launch and implementation; collect feedback, manage customer expectations.  Create user training documentation for post deployment support; respond to functional questions. Support team and end-users as Subject Matter Expert.

Job Requirements: Must have a bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering field (or foreign earned equivalent degree) plus at least 60 months of work experience in enterprise level roles involving full SDLC for airline IT, applying XML, database, workflow management and collaboration tools.  Travel to client sites up to 10 days/yr may be required.

Job location: FLX Miami office or virtually within commuting distance.
