Farelogix Appoints Bonnie Lowell as
Lead Schema Architect
Addition of Veteran Technology Expert to the Farelogix Team Reinforces Company's Commitment to Compliance with IATA NDC Standard
MIAMI–April 12, 2013– Farelogix today announces that it has appointed Bonnie Lowell to the role of Lead Schema Architect. Ms. Lowell, a leading technology and travel industry distribution expert, will take chief responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the Farelogix XML schema including continued support for IATA's New Distribution Capability (NDC) Standard. She will also represent the company in various IATA NDC industry working groups.

Prior to joining Farelogix, Lowell was Chief Architect for OpenTravel, a provider of interoperable open standards for multiple travel segments, including air, hotel and car rental. Lowell joined OpenTravel in 2009 where she introduced three new travel segments into the schema portfolio and led the company's "2.0 Initiative", focused on shifting the company's existing standards from monolithic-style XML messages to model driven, object-based schema designed to work natively in enterprise applications and architecture.
Ms. Lowell will be on hand at an exclusive airline event taking place next week in Miami – Delivering on NDC: A Technology Symposium–Farelogix will showcase its Airline Commerce Gateway, including direct connect and merchandising components that support traveler-authenticated shopping in full alignment with IATA's new standard.
