Sabre Introduces Comprehensive Fare Management System
Sabre Rate manager provides tools for consolidators and travel agencies to manage and distribute negotiated fares worldwide.
TORONTO, Ont. - August 1, 2001
Sabre Holdings Corporation (NYSE:TSG), the leading provider of technology, distribution and marketing services for the travel industry, has announced the introduction of Sabre Rate Manager, powered by Farelogix, a comprehensive web-based solution for managing and distributing negotiated fares worldwide.
Sabre ConnectedTM travel agencies and consolidators will be provided with a contract management system that compromises a negotiated fares database, a booking engine and an extensive management reporting tool, allowing comprehensive distribution of negotiated fares to agencies or internal reservations staff. Sabre Rate manager also offers an XML data feed option for distribution.
Sabre Rate Manager compliments an agency's existing line of fare management tools and enables Sabre connected travel agents to access negotiated and published fares in a single fare display. Sabre Rate Manager provides improved access to a wider range of fares, supporting consolidators, retailers and online agents in the travel industry.
