Product Overview

Project Hawkeye is an open-source, web-based point of sale application for the travel industry.
Built using .NET and C#, Hawkeye is a robust application that can be used as an ‘off-the-shelf’ agent desktop; or users may download the source code and customize it to fit their particular business, preferences, or workflow needs.

Hawkeye uses an object-oriented and multi-tier architecture using Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, and XML.  Multiple web browsers are supported including Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or greater, Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or greater, Apple Safari, and Google Chrome.  Data is accessed through web services with a rich XML Schema design to support complex shopping, booking and reservation management.

Hawkeye can be developed for use against any travel reservation source. Farelogix customers may use Hawkeye to access travel inventory through the proprietary Farelogix FLX™ platform, whereas non-Farelogix customers may elect to use Hawkeye against their own connections to travel inventory sources.

As an open source application, the functionality of Hawkeye will perpetually evolve in response to the requirements and contributions of the Hawkeye Community.
