Farelogix FLX-Files provides independent profile solution for management and storage of traveler and corporate profiles. Using FLX-Files, corporations and travel management companies can lower the costs and inefficiencies associated with maintaining travel profiles in multiple places, and also supports application of profile information for multi-source environments. The solution ensures independent profile data ownership not tied to Farelogix or any other third party or distribution company. FLX-Files is also fully integrated with Farelogix Hawkeye and SPRK point-of-sale systems.
FLX-Files not only supports traditional profile data elements, but also expanded information such as unused e-tickets, flight merchandising preferences, quality control or service fee remarks. A web-based user interface allows for travel agents or corporate travelers to manage their data, or users may opt to integrate FLX-Files within their own travel point-of-sale system using a web services API. All profile information is stored in a secure database hosted at the Farelogix Data Center, however Farelogix does not claim ownership to any data or impose any restrictions to how customers choose to use their own data.
Getting started with FLX-Files is as simple as logging onto the web-based API and entering profile information, or to do a one-time import to FLX-Files from an existing profile database such as the GDS or other 3rd party or proprietary databases. Note: GDS and 3rd party databases may require permission or authorization to perform data import into FLX-Files.
