FLX Supplier Content Adapter (Direct Connect)

The Supplier Content Adapter is a connection between the Supplier Reservation System and the Farelogix FLX Platform. Farelogix supports whatever type of messaging protocol is required or preferred by the supplier (e.g. EDIFACT, OTA, XML, GDS, or Proprietary). All content is then standardized and normalized for use in the Farelogix FLX™ Platform

The Supplier Content Adapter allows users to make and manage “direct” bookings and reservations out of the Supplier Reservation System without any third-party intervention, and at significantly reduced cost to the supplier.  Airline Supplier Content Adapters include:

• Ticketing, Exchange, Refund, Void
• Interline Management
• Settlement and reporting (ARC, BSP, TCN, BIDT, etc.)
• Custom content/functionality as requested by supplier

The Supplier Content Adapter is fully integrated with the Farelogix FLX™ Platform including the Master Itinerary (MI) SuperPNR) database and Distribution Manager (DM) rules engine. The system is also fully integrated with multiple agent and call center Point of Sale Applications.
